Throughout the year, events are held in the Prefecture of Drama. Starting from the beginning of each year, the villages of the area come to life with the customs of the twelve days and immediately after we continue with the carnival of Choristis. Then, in the spring, we celebrate the wine festival Dramoinognosia and Anastenaria in Mavrolefki. In the summer we have Eleftheria and the Dramaica Youth Festival, while in the fall we are greeted by the International Short Film Festival and the events of Peliti. The winter of Drama is full of colors, aromas and music because throughout December we celebrate Christmas in the unique Dream Town, which begins on the eve of the celebration of the patron saint, Saint Barbara, on December 3, so we celebrate by throwing the boats of wishes into the pond of the park of the same name.
